Fencing Staples

Fencing staples — also called fence nails or fence tacks — are how you attach wire fencing to wooden posts. Whether you’re running field fence along a property line, stapling no-climb horse fence to a post-and-rail fence, or securing woven wire to wood corner posts in a vineyard trellis, these are the hardware that holds it all in place.

We carry 9-gauge galvanized staples in both 1 1/2″ and 2″ lengths. The 1 1/2″ size works for most standard fencing wire on wooden posts. The 2″ size gives you more holding power in softer wood or for heavier gauge wire under higher tension. Available in 3 lb bags for smaller jobs or 10 lb and 25 lb buckets if you’re running a lot of fence.
