Black Post

The black post is the heavy-duty cousin of our galvanized diamond post, built from thicker-gauge steel and left uncoated on purpose. It gathers a layer of surface rust that gives your rows the weathered look made popular by California vineyards — a natural fit alongside the vines of the South Okanagan.

Underneath the patina it’s all muscle: strength and rigidity comparable to a wood post, a butterfly notch every 4 inches for easy fence and wire installation, and an expected working life of 20 to 30 years. It doesn’t leach chemicals, so it’s safe for organic farms and gardens, and it makes a stronger substitute for a standard T-post.
