Post Pounder

A post pounder is the right tool for driving T-posts and diamond posts by hand — no tractor, no auger, no power equipment. Slide it over the top of the post, lift, and drive. One person can set a full fence line in a day.

We carry two sizes. The Light Duty (29.5″ tall, 2.25″ diameter, 20 lbs) is fine for standard T-posts in average ground. The Heavy Duty (31″ tall, 3″ diameter, 30 lbs) has more mass behind each strike — useful in hard or rocky ground, for larger posts, or if you’re setting a lot of posts and want the extra weight doing more of the work.
